These new security measures are designed to keep you protected differently and will work separately from antivirus Defender.

How to Enable Smart App Control in Windows 11
Just open Defender or Windows Security from Settings. From App and Browser Controlyou will see that Smart App Control this is the first entry.
If you still can’t see this feature now, then you just need to wait a few more days.
Click on Smart App Control and open its page. Here it will show you the option to enable or disable it. But remember that you can only activate it when you reinstall Windows.
This is actually already designed, because Microsoft wants to first identify if you are the right user for this feature on your PC.
SAP starts in evaluation mode. This is the period of time where Windows 11 tries to determine if you are the right user.
If you turn out to be the right candidate for Smart App Control, then it will be activated automatically. There are certain criteria or conditions under which it will allow itself. Otherwise, it will still be turned off.
