1. Uninstall Windows Subsystem for Android
The first thing you need to do is to uninstall the existing version of Windows Subsystem for Android. Google Play Store support is not available on older versions of Windows Subsystem for Android.
To uninstall WSA, first of all you have to click on the button Startsearch Windows Subsystem for Android and uninstall it. Once you uninstall WSA, all apps will be gone.

2. Enable Windows 11 Developer Mode
After uninstalling the old version of Windows Subsystem for Android, you need to enable Windows 11 Developer Mode.
To enable Windows 11 Developer Mode, you need to open Windows 11 search and type Developer Settings. Then, open Developer Settings from the list.

3. Download Windows Subsystem for Android Package/Kernel File
The next step is to download the latest Windows Subsystem for Android Package for Android. Please download the file from the link below:

Other versions of WSA will not work with Google Play Store. So, it is best to download the file from the link we have shared above.
Next, you need to download the Kernel file below:

Next extract the WSA folder and open Tools folder. In the Tools folder, paste/paste kernel file which you have downloaded earlier.

4. Install Windows Subsystem for Android
Once done with the above steps, you need to install Windows Subsystem for Android. To install it, open Windows 11 search and type Powershell. Right click on Powershell and select Run as administrator.

In the Powershell Window, enter the command CD followed by the location of the WSA folder that you extracted earlier.
For example – cd C:UsersafeguardDesktopsWSA extract folder
PS: Change “Desktopswsa extract folder” with the location on your computer.
Next, run the command below on Powershell:
Add-AppxPackage -Register .AppxManifest.xml

There he is! This will install Windows Subsystem for Android on your Windows 11 PC.
5. Enable Developer Mode in WSA
The next step is to enable Developer Mode in WSA. For that, open Windows 11 search and type Windows Subsystem for Android. Then, open WSA from the list.
Next, you need to enable the option Developer Modeas shown in the image below.

Next, click the button Fileas shown in the image below.

Now on the diagnostic data pop-up, click the button Continue.
6. Install Google Play Store on Windows 11 PC/Laptop
Here we need to make some changes to activate and install Google Play Store on Windows 11 PC.
For that, you need to navigate to the folder C:adbplatform tools. Now in the File Explorer address bar, type CMD and press Enter key.

At the Command prompt, type adb connect and your localhost address and press Enter key. For example, adb connect 127.18.155.80:585

PS: Replace 127.18.155.80:585 with your Localhost address.
If you don’t know your localhost address, you can find it in Windows Subsystem Settings for Android.
Next, type adb shell in Command Prompt and press Enter key.

Next, type su and press Enter key.

Now you need to type setenforce 0 and press Enter key.

7. Access Google Play Store on Windows 11 PC/Laptop
If you have followed the steps carefully, Google Play Store will be up and running on your system. Just open Start menu Windows 11 and click Google Play Store icon.
You will be asked to sign in with your Google Account. Just log in, and you will be able to install apps directly from the Play Store.
